As Event Director, I’m excited to be bringing this circus festival to life with the support of our incredible Ōtautahi circus tutors and the Christchurch Circus Trust.
This event is all about giving young people the chance to experience circus in a fun, welcoming, and inspiring environment. Whether you’re completely new to circus or already have some skills, it’s an opportunity to try something different, connect with others, and discover the creativity, confidence, and joy that circus can bring.
Together, we’re creating a vibrant community space where people can explore, play, and be inspired; and I can’t wait to see everyone get involved.
About Us
Ōtautahi Youth Circus Hui (ŌYCH!) is a vibrant youth circus festival that takes place at Roy Stokes Hall in New Brighton, Ōtautahi (Christchurch).
Our main goal is to nurture the talents of young circus enthusiasts while building a strong and supportive community.
